- How does a swap work?
- You choose the asset you have and the asset you want, then paste the address that should receive it. swap.je gives you a single-use deposit address on the origin chain. After you send, competing market makers fill the order and the destination asset is paid out to your address. swap.je never holds your funds.
- Do I need an account or wallet connection?
- No. There is no sign-up, no wallet connection and no KYC. You can send from any wallet, hardware device or exchange withdrawal.
- What does it cost?
- A 0.2% service fee is included in the rate you see. On top of that, the quote already accounts for network fees on the destination chain. What is shown as "You receive" is what arrives, subject to the slippage tolerance you pick.
- How long does it take?
- The swap itself settles in seconds. Most of the wait is your deposit confirming on the origin chain — around a minute for Solana or TON, a few minutes for Ethereum and its L2s, and roughly 20–60 minutes for Bitcoin depending on the fee you paid.
- What if I send the wrong amount?
- Send more than quoted and the excess is refunded to your refund address after the swap. Send less and the partial deposit is refunded once the deadline passes. Always send the exact amount shown for the smoothest experience.
- What is the refund address for?
- It is an address on the origin chain that receives your funds if the swap cannot complete — for example if the deposit arrives after the deadline or the price moves beyond your slippage tolerance. It must be an address you control.
- Can I reuse a deposit address?
- No. Each deposit address is generated for one quote and expires at the deadline shown. Never send to an expired address; start a new swap instead.
- Which chains and assets are supported?
- Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, NEAR, BNB Chain, Tron, TON, XRP, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Cardano, Sui, Aptos, Stellar, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Avalanche, Gnosis, Zcash, Bitcoin Cash and more, with USDT and USDC on most of them. The token list in the swap card is always current.
- Is there a minimum?
- Minimums depend on the pair and current network fees. If an amount is too small the quote will say so before you send anything.
- Something looks stuck. What do I do?
- Open the swap page for your deposit address (the Track page finds it) — most “stuck” swaps are simply waiting for chain confirmations. If a terminal status hasn't appeared a few hours after your deposit confirmed, contact support with the deposit address.
